What's your Favorite Kind of Music?

I’m going to tell you about something very special and cool I know you may like. Pay close attention!

As beginners we would like to do it all at once but sometimes we don’t know what genre to use so we write our songs. So many times we are asked about what our favorite music genre is and we quickly answer “I like all genres”. So this doesn’t happen to you I will tell you some tips to write better and know what your favorite genre is.

This new topic is held on a simple question, “if there was only one genre you’d have to choose to live forever, what would it be?”… After listening up to this question you will get to think well about that genre, and then your ideas to write a song will come with a special sound in your mind related to the genre you chose that already becomes your favorite one.

Tips to write better songs with your chosen genre

• Listen to the popular songs that are related to your chosen genre.
• Think well about what you are going to write (a history, a love story, etc.)
• Imitate the way your artists rhyme and sing, especially artists from your chosen genre.
• Record the sound that comes to your mind, a hum or something else, not to forget it and have to create a different music for those new lyrics (thing that may be really difficult to do).
• Save your lyrics well (on your PC, special notebook, One Drive, or somewhere else).
• Don’t be afraid to have to edit your song lyrics if you get more ideas for your song to be better.

Remember to search for the other music genres and their kinds of sounds and music they require to be them.
